Jeffrey Wartman, MD, felt called to medicine at a young age. He is an internal medicine physician focused on delivering high-quality care for all of his patients. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or a thyroid disorder, or just need help recovering from a recent illness, Dr. Wartman provides personalized, compassionate care that strengthens your body, mind and spirit.
He listens closely and gets to know you so you feel at ease during every appointment. Dr. Wartman understands that this is time well spent; it builds the trust and openness that helps you feel comfortable and confident sharing your health questions and concerns.
It’s also important to Dr. Wartman that he is accessible to his patients. His office offers full-service outpatient care with quick access six days a week, including lab in-office services.
Dr. Wartman has been providing this high-level of care to the Brandon area for more than 30 years. He graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine, West Indies, Grenada and is an American Medical Directors Association Certified Medical Director, which recognizes his expertise in long-term care; and an American Society of Internal Medicine Fellow, which highlights his ongoing individual service and contributions to the practice of medicine. He is also provides physicals as an FAA Aviation Medical Examiner.
In his spare time, he enjoys golf, scuba diving, tennis and travel.
