Joaquin Oronoz, MD, knew he wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon when he learned he could help people by repairing broken bones and other injuries that kept them from living their best lives.
With more than two decades of experience, he offers orthopedic surgical procedures for patients of all ages and specializes in shoulder reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, fractures, treatment of hand, elbow, wrist, foot and ankle disorders and carpal tunnel surgery. His passion for sports medicine also extends to his community, where he has provided medical coverage for minor league hockey, baseball and football teams.
Dr. Oronoz graduated from William Beaumont Army Medical Center and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Medical Association. He honed his expertise in Level II trauma centers and children's hospitals.
When he isn't helping patients, Dr. Oronoz loves reading, stamp and coin collecting, cycling and martial arts.
