Awards and Accomplishments
Dr. Desai and Dr. Mangonon are part of the AdventHealth Daytona Beach 3-star rated program for aortic valve replacement with coronary bypass graft surgery**, a rating achieved by fewer than 2% of hospitals nationwide.
Dr. Desai and Dr. Mangonon collaborate with interventional cardiology to perform TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) procedure. To date, almost 300 TAVRs have been performed with a mortality rate that is below the national average.
