Differentiators

I feel that my empathy for patients and my willingness to go the extra mile are unique qualities I offer to my patients. I had complications in pregnancy or at delivery for each of my three children. Being familiar with all the fears and anxiety that come with unexpected outcomes has given me a better appreciation for what patients are going through, and these trials have made me a better doctor.

Care Philosophy

To provide the best care to my patients and empower them with knowledge that allows them to make the best choices for their care.

Dr Humphrey's knowledge, ease, and kindness are second to none. In a scary situation, worrying about my child's health and my own, she takes away so much of that stress. She's thorough in her explanations, she listens to all of my concerns and questions, she's never made me feel rushed during an appointment. Both times I have had to call for questions, she's answered very promptly. I wish I saw her more than my regular OB team, and its a day and night differences in the total over all care that Humphrey gives. Even when there's bad news, her calm demeanor make everything better, because you know she's thought of every angle of the situation.

very bad bedside manner, very rude, jumped right to the worst possible scenario and even described how my baby could be whisked away from me and sent to another hospital where my husband would have to decide who to be with me or my baby! then left the room!! only when prompted did she said that wasn't the case and only something that potentially could happen. She basically made us think our baby was in grave danger before telling us it was just because they couldn't see everything. also, kept being negative about everything including my weight and pst history that did not have any bearing on the pregnancy. she also got this incorrect as she didn't listen, she wrote on my paperwork I had a preterm Labor before but this is our first baby! felt like she was just searching for anything negative to pin on me, everything was doom and gloom like she wondered why I even got pregnant as now I will suffer as will my baby. no bedside manner whatsoever I left in tears!!!! I'll do whatever it takes to never go back to this awful dr!!! since then I've heard this is what she's like! unacceptable, don't put her in front of people she should be behind the scenes not making people cry and panic!

Dr. Humphrey was amazing, she went above and beyond looking into my past records and truly listening to my past births. She figured out that I was not properly DX and setup a plan for this pregnancy to make sure it will go as far as possible and keep me and Baby safe.

I could not have asked for a better experience. I feel like I walked out of the doctors office with a much more confident feeling in regards to my pregnancy, the risks from my condition, and the plan.

Dr. Humphrey did not have any bedside manner. she lacked compassion and gave information but did not speak to me on any personal level.

Coming to Maternal Fetal Medicine, I was terrified of the experience I would have. Before my appointment, I had heard horror stories from others that used other doctors and how bad their experience was. Dr. Humphreys completely changed my opinion. She is extremely informative, speaks to the level of a layman, provides applicable feedback and delivers diagnosis/information with a kind, sense of calm.

Dr. Humphrey's is an amazing provider! In the time we spent with her, we learned so much about our risks, the science and tools available to us, and the important milestones/screenings we will face. All while providing support & encouragement.

Dr Humphrey is the most involved, informative, caring, intelligent doctor I have ever met. she has helped me with 2 high risk pregnancies and I trust her completely. She never rushes you through your appointment/ care and always has your best interest in mind. She could never be replaced, she is incredible!

Dr. Humphrey had extremely poor bedside manner. She made it seem like my obgyn's concerns weren't valid, ignored our concerns, was rushing, and was reading material from a website. We were very disappointed and would not recommend her care to any of our friends. The ultrasound tech was very good and helpful. For being a high risk Dr, I felt like I left with diminished self-esteem/self-confidence and didn't learn anything more about my pregnancy complications. I am now under the care of another provider in the same field and it is a complete 180 difference.
