Dr Kashi is the first doctor I have ever gone to who asked questions about my health from top to bottom and then explicitly indicated what she thought were and were not problems and then delineated what she was going to do about each concern she had.

First impression was good. I like more specific mention of my condition while discussing things. Felt a tad rushed, not fully encouraged to talk about any concerns I have. I asked about my realm of activities I'm able to do since I mow my own grass and live alone (so I do a lot of physical things). I wasn't sure she understood me fully. I don't like making a big deal of things so I didn't make a point of going further when she said i could do anything. I am hesitant to do all I'd like to. Having a colon resection last year and hernia mesh repair leaves me less confident, unsure I am able to make things worse. Didn't communicate that, felt shutdown a bit. I truly like the doctor, she comes highly recommended and I have faith in her, but my office visits and communication, being heard, are very important to me.

Since I only saw the NP I can only answer based on my visit with her. I couldn't wait any longer to see Dr. my first visit with Dr. I waited over an hour to be seen with no explanation while waiting. this time she leaves and I'm told I'd have to wait till she returns. There was no attempt to follow-up by phone call afterwards either despite the fact that I had sent an e-mail to her asking questions and she responded with no answers but she would move my appointment up sooner so we could talk in the office. then she leaves the office. I was never told it was for an emergency, just that, "she had to run over to the procedure area." I would definitely not recommend her to family or friends.

I have seen several providers for my problem since the beginning of February and this is the first time that I feel that they have listened to me. She actually looked at my CT scan from my ER visit in January and actually said part of my problem was there and treated me for it. She ordered other tests for the other symptoms, so I feel like I'm actually going to get better instead of just dealing with the pain.

It is probably too early to evaluate.

Dr. Kashi ignored questions I asked and was visibly irritated when I asked them. She was tired and yawned several times. Her arrogance was off putting and she didn't even make a pretense of care or compassion.

she rarely looks at patients, spends all her time typing notes on her lap top. does not really listen, concentrates more on how to word her typing than on listening/talking with patient.

both times I have visited, I waited an hour or more beyond my appointment time to see Dr Kashi. I really appreciate the time she spends with me and I do not feel rushed through my appointment. I think the office should more accurately schedule her time with her patients

doctor apologized for wait time. was busy typing as she talked to me, little eye contact, I felt she was in a rush. did not offer follow up for the problem I presented with although to her credit I did say I have been having this recurring issue for decades, although worst in recent years. She promptly agreed to schedule a colonoscopy as I requested due to family history. Feeling less confident after my visit I cancelled the colonoscopy and will return to my previous doctor. Dr. Kashi did prescribed Dexilant which is helping my issue which I appreciate. she did provide an RX for Nexium as I requested not knowing if I could afford Dexilant
