Udayakumar Navaneethan, MD, is a board-certified physician in gastroenterology and internal medicine who specializes in advanced endoscopic interventions and inflammatory bowel disease. A graduate of Madurai Medical College in India, he undertook his residency training at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Navaneethan also completed training in advanced endoscopy at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Navaneethan is part of the esteemed medical team at AdventHealth Orlando's Center for Interventional Endoscopy. Dr. Navaneethan currently serves as the Director of IBD Center and the Interventional IBD Unit at CIE and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Central Florida college of medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and fellow of the American College of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has published more than 200 articles and textbook chapters.
