James B. Pate, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse with substantial experience evaluating, diagnosing and treating cardiovascular patients in outpatient and hospital settings. He is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and has more than 10 years of clinical experience, including time spent as an Intensive Care Unit charge nurse. James has honorably served his country as a First Lieutenant in the US Army, where he earned multiple commendations including the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Florida and his Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati.
